Stress and bubble wrap

Laurie Barkman in her blog Passionate Performance has published an interesting article about everyday stress.

When we learn how to manage stress, when we control the stress instead of allowing it to control us, we enjoy richer, deeper, stronger relationships. We work better, we feel better … we live longer.

The question is how do we do that? What can we do to bring our minds, our lives back to a healthier place?

Barkman’s answer to this question is in her article at: http://goo.gl/7Opb6

Great article, Laurie. It is a good reminder to tackle stress before it tackles us [to the ground].

I agree that stress is a debilitating and corrosive factor. We already have a tough time in our personal lives…we don’t need stress in the workplace as well. It does nothing for productivity and stifles creativity.

I believe that just like with any psychological aspect of our being, it boils down to energy. It can be positive or negative; stress is negative but there must be a positive side to it. The difficult part is to find those tiny positive fragments and use them as an antidote to combat stress.

I’m still looking for the right formula…
